High temperature resistant felt products

Aluminum extrusion is a technique used to transform aluminum alloy into objects with a definitive cross-sectional profile for a wide range of uses. The alloy is heated up in the extrusion press and extruded to become profiles. The felt products offered by DAISLER can resist different temperatures (up to 600 Celsius instaneously) and carry different weight of the profiles.

Felt tubes are installed to help facilitate the cooling process of the extruded aluminum profiles. It is important to place the right felt tube at the appropriate temperature.

Felt belts are designed to be truly endless, avoiding any possibility of the joint being open due to high temperature.

Felt pads are cut to customed sizes to be placed at certain locations needed to help facilitate the cooling process of the extruded aluminum profiles. They are also used for the walking beam system.

The spacing materials are to be placed between each aluminum profile in the aging oven for annealing to happen.

Timing felt belt is a new design that combines the synchronous movement of timing belt and the high temperature resistance characteristics of felt products to carry heavy profiles.

Four different types of materials are used to resist different temperatures at each stage of the aluminum extrusion process.

In our Nomenclature, it explains how we name our felt products.
